Diablo is a very showy dahlia with double 3" blooms in lovely shades of orange, lilac, lavender, scarlet, white, yellow and crimson. The colourful flowers contrast well with its dark foliage. Flowering in as little as 6-8 weeks from seed, this dwarf variety is an excellent garden performer and continues to bloom until a hard frost. They are perfect for beds or pots and they make excellent cut flowers. Easy to grow from seed, this variety will overwinter in zones 7 and higher. However, these are most often simply grown from seed each year as an annual. This compact variety grows to only 14-16 inches high.
